Chinese National Standard for Spheroidal Graphite Iron Castings

"Spheroidal Graphite Iron Castings" (Standard No. GB/T 1348-2019) is a recommended national standard implemented in China on July 1, 2020. It was jointly issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China, and is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Foundry of Standardization Administration of China. This standard aims to regulate the technical requirements for production and quality inspection procedures for spheroidal graphite iron castings. It applies to ordinary or low-alloy ferritic-pearlitic spheroidal graphite iron castings and solid-solution strengthened ferritic spheroidal graphite iron castings produced via sand casting (or in molds with thermal conductivity comparable to sand molds); castings produced via special casting methods may refer to this standard for guidance. It does not apply to ausferritic spheroidal graphite iron (austempered ductile iron).
